The Living Life and Fire, and you too are That I Am. Maybe it doesn’t feel like this because one is weighed down and fragmented with materialistic aims, irrational fears, insatiable desires, latent fears, obsessions, worthlessness and the whole gamut of ‘suffering’ we put ourselves through. The Ego’s mantra is ‘I suffer therefore I am’.
The knowledge and deep knowing of one’s unity with God is hidden in the brambles of the ego and it’s our job to undo these knots one-by-one, instead of identifying with them. Jesus wasn’t born perfect, one just has to read the Gnostic scripture ‘The Infancy Gospel of Thomas’ to see that he too struggled with ego. This is why he came to India from age 14 – 30 (historical evidence) to learn the ancient Yogic Science of Self purification and Self Regulation.
It’s a daily and active process of Self-maintenance and recovery. It is not Allah’s will that you suffer and Jesus won’t be taking your misery away. That’s your job. Spirituality is another word for ‘Clarity’, and Yoga is the science of Clarity. I’m talking about the full spectrum of yoga and not just the superficial idea of a great workout of ‘asana exercises’.
Yoga in its Tantric Fullness is a deep and lived process of being present with the self. Noticing feeling sensations or physical pains. Allowing emotions and energy to be released through soma techniques, engaging in one’s own Jungian self-analysis, being meditative and clear of mind to hear the Heart’s advise and commands’, and then taking action on these requests regardless of the ego’s desire to cling to the situation and fear of the unknown outcome.
It’s a daily process of sweeping the temple steps of the self and choosing to release and elevate piece by piece. When one starts to experience the profound wholeness, one starts to trust the process more and more. Realising that the ego’s desires are always hollow in comparison to the elevation one experiences after the process of release.
But it takes work, work, work. One can either do the work…Or not. But one should know we live in an energy exchange universe. So your choice will beget your reality.
