Christ ∞ Sophia Alchemy

A ONE- YEAR IMMERSIVE IN THE SACRED ART OF INNER UNION

The path of increasing Christed enlightenment is an expressive and physiological process that evolves from an intimate connection to the language of Sophia, who is the Holy Spirit and the Earth Mother Consciousness. She wants us to release all shame and obligation, and come home into a loving connection with Nature, the Temple of our Body and the Voice of our Hearts. She created us to live mythical lives of play, purpose, and adventure in flow with her seasons and rhythm. This one-year immersion is a reclamation of your Mother and Her language written in your skin and the cycles of the earth.

Liberation starts in the body, not the mind. Understanding the Mother’s somatic ‘and felt’ language is the key to the kingdom within. Calm the body and the mind will follow.

Christ Resides in her nature

The path of enlightenment is so simple it’s almost criminal. This Sacred Voyage is the undoing of the greatest crime ever committed…Patriarchal Religion.

They made us believe we are born sinful and separated from our Creator. They told us our bodies deceive and their instincts should be resisted lest we burn.

They made us bend the knee to messiahs and prophets to save us from our invented sin. And the greatest crime of all? They told us Our Holy Mother, Sophia, and Her emissary the Kundalini Serpent, our only hope of inner liberation and expansion…was the Devil.

This misunderstanding of the Snake and the Feminine aspect of God in the Abrahamic Origin Story is the very thing that keeps us afraid of our Shadow Self and chained to our ego’s toxic patterns.

The Patriarchy has commodified Her body (The Earth) and taught us to commodify our own body in return. How many of us resist Her voice that whispers in our flesh? Our intuition? Our instincts? Our passions?

The patriarchal dimension with all its cultural, monetary and productive expectations is a trauma for the human body and spirit. A place of disconnection and meaninglessness. A false replica of Sophia’s intention for Her beloved children.

The Eden dimension is the Mother’s true reality and we can choose to dwell in this place when we release control and step into Her bio rhythm of play and purpose. The Patriarchal mind tells us our passions are frivolous and to be feared but Sophia tells us they are the jewels She put in our hearts. They are the very reason we were born.

Her path is learning to trust our intuition and experience how it expands us into greater levels of Christ Sophia consciousness, peace and enjoyment.

Sophia has nothing to do with blind faith or dogma. She is a lived experience. An unequivocal knowing. Don’t take my word for it…I invite you to experience gnosis for yourself.

The Great Alchemical Work Of Inner Union

The Middle Way of the Wish

  • Feminine ∞ Masculine
  • Unconscious ∞ Conscious
  • Matter ∞ Spirit
  • Electron ∞ Proton
  • Shamanic ∞ Stoic
  • Intuition ∞ Reason
  • Flow ∞ Structure
  • Shiva ∞ Shakti
  • Blue ∞ Red

Unearthing the Divine spark within, retrieving the lightness of our ‘Higher Nature’ from the density of our conditioned or fear-based ‘Lower Nature’ is the noble, insufferable and beautiful quest into the awakening of Christ Consciousness within the self.

“The Highest Divine Consciousness whom we call God, Brahman or Spirit has plunged itself or involved itself into its own self-created opposite – The All-Conscience into Inconscience, the All Wise into perpetual Ignorance, the All-Blissful has put on a huge insensibility out of which it struggles by pain, hunger, desire and sorrow. The gradual Becoming of the Divine out of its own phenomenal opposites is the meaning and purpose of terrestrial evolution.” (Sri Aurobindo)

Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, “These nursing babies are like those who enter the kingdom.

They said to him, “Shall we enter the kingdom as babies?”

Jesus said to them, “When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter the kingdom. (Gnostic Gospel of Thomas)

This path of inner union that Jesus is speaking of brings increasing levels of abiding peace and awareness. A restoration of a childlike attitude full of wonder, compassion and play.

As we restore and integrate unconscious shadow parts of the self into wholeness, it is as Mary Magdalene says in her Gnostic Gospel, “What binds me has been slain, and what surrounds me has been overcome, and my desire has been ended and ignorance has died.”

Sophia's Circle is a loving and safe communion of fellow voyagers willing to be brave of heart. To gently witness each other's vulnerability and grow together in radical authenticity and self-love.

Alchemical Manifesto

Many speak of coming into ‘Oneness’ with God but what does this mean in practice? Over many years of my own gnosis and unearthing the jewel within, I have realised it cannot be found in the pages of books or in the obligations of religion.

Rather it is the journey of healing the nervous system, actively engaging in shadow work, using my authentic creativity for self-creation, releasing all self-judgement and coming into awareness. This is how we experience feelings of ‘Oneness’. Through our own wholeness we begin to connect with the wholeness of Mother Nature and all life around us.

No longer looking to some faraway God to save us but rather experiencing the God with us and in us.

The Kingdom of Heaven is felt in the hearts of those who dwell in the presence and rhythm of our Mother’s, and their own, Nature.

Below are the foundational principles of what we will explore and experience in this One-Year Voyage through a combination of physical practices and verbal teachings on the alchemical mysteries.

Principle 1 - Coming Into Season

The Mother is (Mater – Material) the actual Earth Herself. From the Gnostic myth of Sophia and many ancient Creation Myths, we learn that Gaia is conscious. She is the God with us, in every fibre of our body and reality. The alchemists depicted Her as the Ouroborus because the Earth goes through continuous cycles of death and rebirth. This seasonal journey happens in conjunction with the equinoxes and solstices as an annual journey, and it happens in the moon cycles as a monthly journey. So too, when we remember the language of Her bio rhythm, it happens in the ‘Mater’ of our own bodies. We are a part of Nature’s story. Just as trees flourish and decay, expanding and growing taller each year, so too do we. We learn and experience the relief of living in season, in flow, in surrender and in tune with our body’s needs in any given moment. In this way, when we align with the Earth’s intelligence, we tune in to the game of the universe and a life of creative play.

Principle 2 - Embracing Our Darkness

As above, so below. Across ancient cultures we see God depicted as yin and yang. (Yang is Father – Masculine – Proton – Sky – Consciousness) and (Yin is Mother – Feminine – Electron – Earth – Material – Body). Together these two energies make up the Holy One God, but for millennia now the Abrahamic religions have demonised the Mother principle and operated with just the ‘Yang’ or ‘Masculine principle’. Is it any wonder why the Patriarchy has run rampant and we are so fractured in our own psyches? Together we will remember how to live in radical self-love and acceptance of our flesh, desires, darkness and sexuality. No longer moralising our so-called ‘imperfections or shadow’ as bad and something to avoid, but rather as the alchemical key and guardian of our own liberation. We will learn how to balance the Feminine and Masculine principles within the self and how they work together in harmony.

Principle 3 - Nervous System = Reality

You are the Temple and the Tree of Life. The nervous system looks like the roots of a tree and when it is overwhelmed and disconnected one’s reality follows suit. It’s as the alchemists say, ‘As within, so without’. When we learn to calm and self-regulate our ‘nervous system tree’ one gains a peaceful mind and deep feelings of well-being where our external reality becomes enjoyable. From this whole place of awareness we are able to tune into the voice of Sophia (Wisdom) in our own hearts. Together we will experience and learn to cultivate many practices that bring us into rest and awareness. We will feel the visceral benefit of what body and yogic practices do for our inner peace and external reality.

Principle 4 - Heroine's Journey as a Evolutionary Art

As we learn to regulate the body, the mind will become still. This will open our ears to the voice of the heart. When we will learn how to trust our intuition and take action when it challenges us to step into new heights we begin to live in our own mythical dimension. The Hero-ine’s journey is an ancient story pattern to be found in all our great myths and legends; The Odyssey, The Myth of Innana, The Myth of Osiris, The Myth of Jesus and so many more. Not so coincidently, this story pattern follows the same process as the seasons because they were written as odes to Her. To express the potential for spiritual expansion when one dedicates themselves to coming into wholeness, and living in union with the earth and the body’s language. Sophia is a vast and loving intelligence who has a passionate and purpose filled adventure for all of us. Each year, from Spring to Spring, if we are living in wholeness and connection with Her we experience our own mythical quest of transformation and rebirth. Together we will learn more about these myths and story patterns, and we will experience how to activate living myth in our own lives in correlation to the Mother’s seasons.

Principle 5 - The Spirit Science Of The Hero-ine's Journey

The Hero-ine’s Journey is an internal quest into the self and it can also be expressed in terms of the Spirit Science of the Chakra system. As we choose to live in the quest paradigm this will bring challenges to overcome. This process of overcoming and expanding our consciousness raises the Kundalini (Mother) life force energy within the body. For example, at the beginning of the mythical story (the Root Chakra), the Hero-ine feels a call to adventure. Perhaps the need to move jobs, homes or leave certain relationships. This scares the Hero-ine because it is touching on an internal wound. For example, a fear of being alone. This initial fear is based in the transpersonal psychology of the Root Chakra. This chakra is the basis for where we feel safe. It is also the place of the ‘shadow’ or where we choose unhealthy things in our life based on an inner child wound. The Hero-ine, although comfortable in this depleting space has to face and process false narratives of worthiness in order to find the courage to take action and enter the quest. This ‘overcoming’ is also a kundalini expansion. Through learning about the psychological and behavioural aspects of the chakra system, we will be empowered with tools and techniques to work with our subtle body, which will aid us on the quest and working with Sophia’s life force energy.

Principle 6 - Experiencing The Triple Goddess Archetypes

The three archetypes of the triple goddess are recorded across cultures as a representation of the different aspects of Mother God and indeed the different aspects of our own selves. Each of their attributes also line up with the science of the Chakra system and they are very personal and felt ‘presences’ or aspects of the self. In brief, the first goddess is Lilith, Kali or the Red Woman (The Snake and the Spear). She is the primal and wild aspect of the self and she speaks through emotions, symbols and the subterranean. If we are to journey anywhere we must first accept this ‘demonised’ part of ourselves. The second goddess is Eve, Lakshmi or the Blue Woman (The Eagle and Star). She carries the attributes of the masculine or Father. She is able to lovingly work with the wildness of the Red Woman and transform the shadow aspect through grace and self-awareness. The third aspect is Mary, Saraswati or the Gold Woman (The Snake and Eagle). She is the illumined and embodied self. She is the lived result of delving into one’s ‘matter’ and transforming the shadow material of self through grace. She is what we become and who we identify as after the transformation. The renewed self and composer of a higher reality. We will learn more about the mythical, psychological and spiritual aspects of these archetypes and how to work with them in ourselves.

Principle 7 - Christ Through Sophia, The Cross Or Wheel Of The Earth

The original Christ was not necessarily a literal saviour but rather the physiological and spiritual result of devoting oneself to the Sophianic, alchemical path. In many ancient traditions we see stories pointing to the esoteric knowledge of how the Christ Oil functions in the body. ‘Christos’ is the name for the oil or ‘sacred secretion’ released by the pineal gland once a month. It travels down the 33 vertebrae to the sacrum or base of the spine. The same area where the Kundalini life force lays dormant. When we consciously work with our bodies through all the methods mentioned above, when the oil moves back up the spine it alchemizes or transforms a shadow aspect of the self when it reaches the heart space. Here it spiritualises matter and materialises spirit. We will explore this wisdom encoded in many ancient teachings and how the story of the crucifixion can be understood in these terms. The early Christians also widely understood that in the story, Jesus is crucified on a tree. Not a cross. In countless ancient cultures we see the Mother Goddess being equated with the World Tree or Axis Mundi. Even Asherah, the Mother of the Middle East, often had her shape carved into trees. Asherah and the tree were one and the same. So the story of Christ crucified on the Tree, is very much an allegory for the spiritual path of walking with the Holy Mother Spirit and transforming the self via the Christ Oil. Once again, don’t take my word for it but rather experience this continuous transformation for yourself. Christ in me, the hope of glory.

Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and commit to the deep and continuous work of transformation? To prioritise living in communion with yourself and be supported by a fellowship walking the same road?
